Hey! Thanks for visiting my site!

Hi there! Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my site! I’ve been wanting to create a space for my work for so long and I'm so glad I finally did!

My name is Bobbi Solano and I'm a sixth year English major, journalism minor at CSU Stanislaus in Turlock, CA. I am all set to finally graduate this Spring and am so excited that I'll have my bachelor's degree. 

​

Getting here has been a long and winding road. Before April of 2019, I was an animal science major at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Four years into my degree with one left to go, my academic shortcomings forced me to take a step back and re-evaluate where I was at. Having lost my financial aid, I came back home and decided to pursue English. It has always been a love of mine, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

Now here I am, one semester left in my undergrad and getting ready to apply to MFA creative writing programs.  

​

I want this space to serve as a portfolio for my work, but also an area where I can share my thoughts and help my readers get a better idea of who I am and what I believe in.
